I recently joined Sync Computing as the lead of distributed systems R&D division. I’m driving the development of AGORA, a holistic resource allocator and scheduler for running DAG workflows in cloud. Please check our paper for more details. Before that, I was a Computer Science researcher at IBM Alamden Research Center. I received my Ph.D. on Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 2018. I am broadly interested in computer systems. My research is focused on storage systems, big data analytic platforms, HPC systems and deep learning frameworks. The aim of my research is to optimize computer systems and resources (storage, CPU, memory) for a variety of workloads (deep learning, big data). Currently I am working on a few projects related to persistent memory (Optane DCPMM). Please visit our opensource projects McKVS and MCAS.

Collaborations are always welcomed!
